Space Needle

This post is pretty good because if you've never been to the "Great North West" you should start in Seattle, WA.  It's a city located nestled in along the coast of the Puget Sound, protected by the Olympic Mountains. Thriving on all the arts; from music to plays and everything in between. This liberal gem has a little bit of it all (in fact it's nick named the "Emerald City") And if you do get a chance to visit be sure to check out the star icon of the city, the Space Needle. The structure was built in 1961 for the upcoming World's Fair. It sits at 605 feet tall and from the observatory deck you can see for miles around in a 360 degree view, including mountain ranges that reach all the way into Canada who's border is over 100 miles away.
